Jenny Li

Jenny Li completed her PhD in the Health Services Research in Pharmacy program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2024. Previously, she graduated with her PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020 with a concentration in Community Leadership and Innovation in Practice. She also completed her MS in Health Services Research in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022. Her research interests are optimizing adolescent health, substance use prevention, leveraging community pharmacists to support vulnerable populations, and engaging community stakeholders in research. Her graduate research work focused on adolescent vaping prevention and engaging adolescents, parents, and community pharmacists to curb the youth vaping epidemic. In her free time, Dr. Li loves to spend time with her family and friends, watch the latest TV shows and movies on all streaming platforms, and serve her church community.
Tanvee Thakur
PhD, Heath Services Research in Pharmacy | MS, Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Creighton University | BPharm
Tanvee Thakur is a pharmacist by training and earned her Masters of Science in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from Creighton University. She is now a PhD candidate in Heath Services Research in Pharmacy at UW-Madison. Her doctoral research focuses on exploring and enhancing patient-pharmacist communication about opioid medication risks and safety. She is interested in improving medication safety education for all. Within the CRoME lab, she has worked primarily on helping in developing and assessing a serious game to educate adolescents about opioid risks and safety. She is also a Principal Investigator on her independent research grants and has been involved in teaching Doctors of Pharmacy students for the past four years.
