Dr. Shiyanbola and co-presenters (Dr. Unni, Roseman University; Laurie Myers, Dawn Harris (MERCK Co.) have been invited to present a symposium at the International Conference on Communication in Healthcare & Health Literacy Annual Research Conference, Baltimore, Maryland, October 8-11, 2017.
The topic to be discussed is ‘The impact of health literacy on medication understanding and use’. The 90-minute symposium is designed to capture a coherent set of three to five individual presentations that center on one theme. An important asset of the symposium is that it places individual experiences or research results in a broader context and allows time for interaction between the presenters and discussion amongst the group.
