The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy’s incoming PharmD Class of 2025 met their first major milestone on their journey toward graduation: the White Coat Ceremony. This landmark event officially welcomes pharmacy students into the profession, wrapping them in white coats sponsored by alumni and friends of the School and preparing them for the challenges and rewards that lie ahead. In addition to hearing from keynote speaker Berook Addisu (PharmD ’10), the School’s 2021 Young Alumnus of the Year; Pharmacy Alumni Association President Michael Nagy (PharmD ’16), and Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin President Ellina Seckel, these PharmD students also took the Oath of the Pharmacist, led by Associate Professor Karen Kopacek.
