Josh Nachreiner (PharmD ’19) has been inducted as president of the Pharmacy Alumni Association.

Melissa Ortega (MS ’12), chief pharmacy officer at Mass General Brigham, was named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of Hospital and Health System Chief Pharmacy Officers to Know for 2026.

Jordan Dow (PharmD ’08, MS ’10), vice president and chief pharmacy officer at Froedtert Health, was named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of Hospital and Health System Chief Pharmacy Officers to Know for 2026.

Kavish Choudhary (MS ’06), chief pharmacy officer at University of Utah Health, was named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of Hospital and Health System Chief Pharmacy Officers to Know for 2026.

Jack Temple (MS ’06), vice president of pharmacy services at UW Health, was named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of Hospital and Health System Chief Pharmacy Officers to Know for 2026.

Jennifer Tryon (MS ’06), chief pharmacy officer at Henry Ford Health System, was named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of Hospital and Health System Chief Pharmacy Officers to Know for 2026, and was elected president of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Dawn Moore (MS ’01), vice president and chief pharmacy officer at Community Health Network, was named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of Hospital and Health System Chief Pharmacy Officers to Know for 2026.

Diane Erdman (PharmD ’97) has been inducted as president of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin.

Kristin Cannon (BS ’92), chief pharmacy officer at SSM Health, was named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of Hospital and Health System Chief Pharmacy Officers to Know for 2026.
Eiichi Akaho (BS ’75) published a paper in the European Journal of Applied Sciences titled “A Study on Anti-gravity.”
New Jobs/Positions

Kristin Harney (PharmD ’16, MS ’18) has taken a new role as director of pharmacy at the Madison Clinical Research Unit for Fortrea, a global contract research organization overseeing Phase I clinical trials.

Kat Miller (PharmD ’08) has been promoted to vice president of pharmacy and health professions at The University of Kansas Health System, Kansas City, Kansas. She’s also been elected to the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Board of Directors for the 2027–2030 term.

Ryan Bender (PharmD ’05) has opened Qual-i-tee Pharmacy, a direct-pay pharmacy, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Seijin Lim (PhD ’94) has been appointed president of Dongduk Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea.
