Badgers announce SOP as partner

UW Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez joined by Dean Jeanette Roberts announced at a mid-day press conference that the annual spring football game will benefit the School of Pharmacy.

This year’s spring game, the official Badgers debut of new head coach Gary Andersen, will be held on April 20 at 2 p.m. at Camp Randall Stadium. Tickets to the game are $5.

Proceeds will benefit the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy Great People Scholarship Fund. Money raised through ticket sales will specifically help fund student scholarships for continuing UW-Madison School of pharmacy students. In the past 10 years, the School has provided over $3.5 million in scholarships. In 2012, more than $450,000 was awarded to 150 students. The average debt of pharmacy graduates is $85,000.
