Our Research

The Ford Research Group seeks to understand the most effective implementation strategies to support the dissemination, implementation, and sustainment of organizational change in multiple healthcare environments including acute care, behavioral health, and long-term care. By leveraging health systems engineering principles and quality improvement techniques, our research integrates implementation strategies and practical experiences to collaboratively develop organizational-centric research that promotes strong stakeholder and participant engagement. Current research projects focus on: 1) Implementation and Sustainment Facilitation, 2) Community Pharmacy Involvement in the Opioid Epidemic, 3) Antibiotic Stewardship and Telehealth in Long-Term Care, and 4) Digital Therapeutics for Dementia Care.
