These projects utilized the British National Health Service Sustainability Index and qualitative interviews to explore staff sustainability perceptions. The first project focused on staff perceptions related to the sustainability of the VHA mental health system redesign initiative. The second project utilized mixed methods to explore staff perceptions about sustainability of primary care and mental health integration within two Veteran Integrated Service Networks (VISNs). The final project, also a mixed methods study, involved Polytrauma Rehabilitation Centers (PRC) staff and studied perceptions that the Family Care Map (FCM) would be sustained.
