The overall purpose of this project was to develop community-based best practices that can be implemented in any community to treat opioid use disorder through pharmacist-provided medication-assisted therapy (MAT), in part by utilizing knowledge and resources that have been developed from previous grant funding to the communities.

Specific projects included:

  1. Identifying Best Practices for Community Pharmacist Vivitrol Injections, and
  2. Identifying Best Practices for Dispensing Buprenorphine Medications through Community Pharmacists.
