Approximately 100 attendees, comprised of direct family caregivers and volunteers, and about half professional caregivers, were on hand to hear Kevin Look, assistant professor in the Social & Administrative Sciences Division, present at the 2016 Annual Caregiver Conference Dementia, Dignity & Quality of Life. Entitled, “Pharmacy: The vital role of unpaid family caregivers in managing medications: Results from the Clark County Caregiver Study,” Look’s presentation highlighted the results of his Institute for Clinical & Translational (ICTR) Clinical & Community Outcomes Research Pilot Grant. Shannon Myers, Community Research Specialist, Community-Academic Aging Research Network-(CAARN): Connecting the communities of Wisconsin and researchers to grow evidence-based programming to fit the needs and establish a quality of life co-presented. Meyers collaborated with Look on the project along with additional community partners at the Clark County Aging Department. The conference was held in October in at the Clark County Rehabilitation & Living Center in Owen, Wis.
