Yu receives AAPS highest award

Lian Yu, professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division, has been awarded the 2011 David Grant Research Achievement Award in Physical Pharmacy from the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).

This competitive award is among the highest conferred by AAPS and is presented based on the recipient’s continued high quality of work and the impact of their research. As a recipient, Yu will discuss his research for which the award was won at a dedicated lecture session at the 2011 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C. in October. In addition to a complimentary registration to the AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition, Yu will also receive a monetary award.
