Health talk proves beneficial to seniors

The efforts of Britney Mikula, DPH-4, with the Supporting Active Independent Lives (SAIL) program at Oakwood Village Retirement Community is featured in a recent issue of U.S. News and World Report.

The article highlights “village” programs for seniors across the nation. Healthy Conversation provides personal health coaching to seniors with a goal of minimizing adverse drug reactions. Mikula became involved with SAIL during her summer rotation at the Oakwood Village Pharmacy.
