Weiping Tang, assistant professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division, has been selected as a 2010 Journal Award Recipient by the editorial board of Synlett and Synthesis, two well-known international journals devoted to synthetic organic chemistry.

Each year promising young professors at the beginning of their career are selected for the award. Tang will receive complimentary print and electronic subscriptions of both journals and Synfacts, the newest publication published by Thieme Chemistry.
