PharmD and Pharmacology-Toxicology students, and a current resident participated in the second annual research symposium hosted by the Student College of Clinical Pharmacy (SCCP) organization and the Pharmacy Practice Division.

Nearly 20 students took the opportunity to present their work and network with peers. Participants focused on a range of topics from diabetes management and the loading dose of warfarin to access points for substance abuse treatment and pharmacy student training. Posters presented by Katherine Beach, DPH-3, Rachel Jenson, DPH-2, and Marlena Taube, DPH-1, were selected as “Best Poster.” The selected students each receive a $500 stipend toward attendance to a scientific or professional conference of their choosing.. The 2017 presenters (alphabetical order) and their respective poster titles are noted below. Biographies of each presenter are available online.
