Curriculum

We are educating tomorrow’s pharmacy leaders and innovators.

The University of Wisconsin–Madison Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program is designed to prepare students to become leaders in health care. As the health care landscape transforms, our time-tested curriculum evolves with it so you’ll leave our program with the knowledge and skills employers need.

Our graduates are pharmacists trained as both scientists and clinicians who are ready to make a better world for patients and improve people’s health. Here’s how our innovative curriculum develops some of the country’s best pharmacists.

Patient care is at the heart of what pharmacists do. On a top medical campus, you’ll learn by doing as you help patients. From immunizing patients to screening for chronic diseases like diabetes, you’ll make a difference in people’s health as a student pharmacist.
