Fourth year PharmD students Cameron Cech, David Dulak, and Christopher Gardipee have been invited by the Centers for Disease Control to present their immunization demonstration and evaluation project at the CDC invitational National Adult and Influenza Immunization Summit May 10-12. Their poster describes the collaboration between the Wisconsin Immunization Registry and a community pharmacy to significantly increase their immunization rates of pharmacy patrons. This group project was completed in spring 2015 for the Pharmacist Communication: Educational and Behavioral Interventions course (732-652). The course is taught by Betty Chewning, professor and Apple Distinguished Chair, Social and Administrative Sciences Division, and Director of the Sonderegger Research Center.
