Hello! I am a graduate student in the Wenthur Lab and the Banks Lab. My current project focuses broadly on elucidating the therapeutically relevant mechanism of action of psychedelic drugs in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. More specifically, I am using electrophysiological and behavioral techniques in vivo in rodent models to test the role of acute stress and synaptic plasticity in the mechanism of action of psilocybin in the treatment of major depressive disorder.

I am currently focused specifically on the plastic changes occurring in the ventral hippocampal-prefrontal cortical pathway in response to drug administration.
