Graduate student Deepika Rao was accepted to present at the American Pharmacists’ Association (APhA) Annual Meeting & Exposition, March 19–21 in National Harbor, Maryland. Her poster titled “A Longitudinal Mixed Methods Study of Changes in Medication Adherence among African Americans with Type II Diabetes”, was selected among the top ten posters in the Economic, Social and Administrative Sciences Section!
Deepika was also accepted for a podium presentation titled, “An Exploratory Mixed Methods Study to Adapt the Illness Perception Questionnaire-Revised for use with African Americans” . Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the conference was converted into an online conference. Deepika’s pre-recorded podium session is available in the APhA virtual gallery.
