Interested in joining our group?
We are looking for students interested in being actively involved in research project set-up, data collection, and analysis in ongoing or future projects. Prior research experience is not required.
Responsibilities and expectations:
- The student will be expected to learn and apply skills in data management (use of software like REDCap/Qualtrics/UW Box), data collection (surveys/interviews/focus groups), quantitative and qualitative data analysis (use of software like SPSS, NVivo), and data analysis and reporting (posters, presentations, manuscript writing). The student might also be involved in the collection of clinical outcomes such as hemoglobin A1c or blood pressure.
- The student will be directly mentored by a graduate student or research scientist on the tools and techniques listed above.
- Students are expected to join project meetings.
