Stephanie Resendiz, MHA

Research Assistant

Stephanie Resendiz, MHA is a graduate student in the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy Social and Administrative Sciences Division. She received her Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of New Mexico in 2023 and is currently working on her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Health Services Research in Pharmacy with doctoral minors in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Prevention and Intervention Sciences.

As a health services researcher, Stephanie is interested in conducting community-engaged research bridging between pharmacists and communities to address health disparities and promote health equity amongst marginalized populations. Her dissertation will focus on the role of pharmacists in medication accessibility and adherence for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Stephanie is currently working on multiple projects in Dr. Chui’s SAMS lab including the Older Adult OTC Medication Safety project and the Engineering Resilient Community Pharmacies (ENRICH) project.

In addition to academic and research roles, Stephanie enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with her pug, Tug.
