Katherine Moore began work as a client-based researcher in the Social and Administrative Sciences Division of the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy in March 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience.
At UAB, she conducted research in The Eating Motivation Lab (PI: Dr. Mary M. Boggiano) and The Science of Child Development and Neurodiversity (STARS) Lab (PI: Dr. Caroline G. Richter).
Her research interests include well-being, personal and system-level resilience, health behavior, social neuroscience, eating behavior, neurodiversity, loneliness, emotions, and mindfulness. Her enthusiasm for teamwork and improving the lives of others make her a good fit for the SAMS Lab.
In her free time, Katherine loves spending time with her friends, family, and her church family. She also enjoys quiet evenings reading and drinking tea with her cat Jiji, exploring the beautiful Wisconsin state parks, bird watching, soaking in the sun by the lakes, and drawing/painting.
