Katherine Moore, BS

Client-Based Researcher I

Katherine Moore began work as a client-based researcher in the Social and Administrative Science Division of the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy in March 2024. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. In her time as an undergraduate student, she conducted research in The Eating Motivation Lab (PI: Dr. Mary M. Boggiano) and The Science of Child Development and Neurodiversity (STARS) Lab (PI: Dr. Caroline G. Richter). She has experience with quantitative data collection and analysis, survey studies, writing manuscripts, and systematic reviews.

Her interests in emotional well-being and resiliency prepare her to be a successful researcher in the field of human factors and ergonomics within community pharmacy settings. She is currently assisting with the Engineering Resilient Community Pharmacies (ENRICH) project in the Chui Systems Approach to Medication Safety (SAMS) Lab.

In her free time, Katherine enjoys spending time with friends and family, spoiling her cat, Jiji, spending time in nature, reading, meeting new people, and exploring new places. She is excited to be a part of the SAMS Lab team and to call Madison her new home!
