Jason Chladek, PharmD, MPH, PhD is a T32 postdoctoral fellow and population health science scholar at New York University. He received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Health Services Research in Pharmacy with a PhD minor in Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2021.
As a health services researcher, Jason is interested in conducting interprofessional and community-engaged research at the intersection of pharmacy and public health to promote health equity, support medication access and safety, and inform policy and system change. His dissertation focused on informing patient-centered solutions to support previously-incarcerated patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) in accessing medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) during the community reentry process.
Jason’s interests overlap with many research projects in Dr. Chui’s SAMS Lab. He worked on the Older Adult OTC Medication Safety project and assisted with data collection, data analysis, and dissemination of project findings. Specifically, he is worked with a team of PharmD students to analyze over-the-counter (OTC) medication misuse in senior patients.
In addition to academic and research roles, Jason practices at a veterinary pharmacy and enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and English Bulldog, Guinness.
