Beth Martin, PhD, MS, RPh

Beth has provided state and national presentations on implementing a pharmaceutical care practice, tobacco cessation counseling and services, developing/implementing clinical skills exams, and applying motivational interviewing techniques to promote health behavior change. She continues to be interested in facilitating the advancement of pharmaceutical care and provision of medication therapy management services as the standard of pharmacy practice. She encourages students to make a professional pledge to serve their patients through the application of pharmaceutical care principles and to motivate change within the profession of pharmacy. Beth’s research interests include pharmacy services implementation and sustained provision, as well as the evaluation and assessment of educational programs.
