Dr. Yan is currently a senior scientist in the Analytical Research and Development Department at Merck Research Laboratories located in Rahway, New Jersey. He earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Pharmacy in 2020 and was a member of the Bugni Lab from 2014–2020. Before attending UW–Madison, he received his BS in organic chemistry from Peking University, China.
