2023

Join QPR Suicide Prevention on ZOOM to learn about suicide prevention and gain skills that could help save a life!

“How to Save a Life” is a suicide prevention presentation given by Jean Papalia and Tom Duval of Safe Communities of Madison-Dane County. This presentation has a focus on risk & protective factors and how non-judgmental listening with no problem-solving suggestions can be a game changing by creating a life worth living. This presentation will be VIRTUAL (Zoom) on April 11th at 12pm and is expected to last one-hour. This session offers little in the way of post- vention (post- vention= outreach to people who have been touched by a suicide death, particularly in the immediate time after grieving, that offers insight into the nature of a suicide death).

Please contact Ben Muron (muron@wisc.edu), Lindsey Goebel (lmgoebel@wisc.edu), Amy Bowles (abowles2@wisc.edu), Nikki Huynh (nthuynh3@wisc.edu), or Hanna Helling (hhelling@wisc.edu)
