This is an informal career roundtable discussion led by UW PhD alum Raymond Skwierczynski, who is visiting Madison to receive an honorary citation of merit. Dr. Skwierczynski served as Vice-President and Head of Pharmaceutical Operations at CoLucid Pharmaceuticals, a Phase 3 clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that was developing lasmiditan for the acute treat of migraines. Before the acquisition of CoLucid by Eli Lilly and Company, Ray was responsible for drug substance and drug product development, manufacturing, and supply chain and served as a corporate officer. Prior to CoLucid, Ray had positions of increasing responsibility at Takeda, Millennium, 3M Pharmaceuticals, Roche, and Baxter. Ray currently serves as a member of a USP Expert Committee, the AFPE Board of Grants, and the UW-Eau Claire Foundation and served on the Board of Directors for Yankee Clipper Council, Boy Scouts of America.
