Chewning will provide keynote address at 2017 APhA annual meeting

Betty Chewning, professor and Apple Distinguished Chair in the Social and Administrative Sciences Division, is an invited keynote speaker for the upcoming American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Annual Meeting & Exposition. Slated for the APhA Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science (APRS)-Economic, Social, and Administrative Sciences (ESAS) Day of Science, Chewning will speak on the topic of engaging stakeholders in research. She is also an invited moderator leading an APhA-APRS/ESAS Research Roundtable on the same topic. Click here to see other School of Pharmacy participants at the 2017 meeting.

Chewning’s research interests include stakeholder engagement, patient provider partnerships, communication and health outcomes, medication self-management, and interprofessional collaboration in an aging Wisconsin.
