The University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Pharmacy’s annual Pharmacy Alumni Association (PAA) Luncheon took place during the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin’s 2023 Annual Meeting. At the event, in addition to receiving updates about PAA activities, attendees celebrated a number of 2023 awardees:

• Alumnus of the Year Bruce Scott (BS ’79)
• Young Alumnus of the Year Matt McGowan (PharmD ’10)
• IPPE Clinical Instructor of the Year Amy Kulig (PharmD ’03)
• American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Master Preceptor Melissa Ha (PharmD ’12)

The PAA also officially swore in new PAA President Heather Spatchek (PharmD ’18) for the 2023-24 term and heard updates from the School’s PAA student liaison, Lauren Glaza. And of course, no Badger gathering is complete without joining together to sing “Varsity.”
