Richard Hsung, professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division, was honored with a 2010 Vilas Associate Award from the University’s Physical Sciences Division.
The Vilas Associate Award recognizes a faculty member’s scholarly achievements as well as the high quality of the research proposed for the two-year period of support provided by the award. The university-wide competition is open to tenure-track and tenured faculty, from the assistant professor level to professors within 20 years of their tenure date. Recipients receive research salary support for both summers 2010 and 2011, as well as a flexible research fund in each of the two fiscal years.
