Students recognize oustanding faculty

Annually each PharmD class selects one professor to recognize for their exceptional skill and talent in the classroom.

The 2011 Teacher of the Year recipients include:

  • Second year PharmD – Karen Kopacek, clinical associate professor in the Pharmacy Practice Division
  • Third year PharmD – Jill Kolesar, professor (CHS) in the Pharmacy Practice Division

In addition, the Student Senate separately recognizes one member of the entire faculty for exceptional achievement in teaching. This year the Student Senate Teaching Excellence Award is presented to Charles Lauhon, associate professor and Vice Chair in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division. All recipients will be recognized prior to the Kremer’s Lecture on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Noon in Rennebohm Hall.
