Paula Voorheis, PhD

Scientific Director

Paula is a behavioral scientist who integrates best practices from behavioral economics, human-centered design, and mixed-methods research to advance digitally enabled health innovation. She partners with academic, industry, and government teams to co-design and evaluate digital tools that strengthen patient engagement, system navigation, and equitable care. Her work focuses on translating real-world user insights into practical, evidence-based improvements in digital health experiences.

Aimee works at the nexus of science, strategy, and entrepreneurship, helping transform early-stage ideas into real-world impact. With experience supporting over $35M raised across more than a dozen startups, she brings a rare combination of cognitive neuroscience expertise, medtech translation, and commercialization guidance. Aimee excels at synthesizing complex information to shape strategy, mentoring innovators through investment readiness, and accelerating digitally enabled health innovation.
