The mission of our research group is to improve care for patients with infectious diseases by increasing our understanding of the interactions between antibiotics, bacteria, and the host immune system. We utilize a variety of methods and modeling systems to enhance our understanding of these host-pathogen-antibiotic interactions in order to optimize antibiotic use.
