The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy’s Community-Based Residency Program includes a variety of innovative sites across the state of North Carolina in independent, chain, supermarket, college health, ambulatory care, outpatient health-system, and specialty pharmacy settings. Each site is centered around a community pharmacy that focuses on providing medication management, health and wellness services, immunizations, disease state management, and care transition services.
We are recruiting for 11 sites (2 of which are looking for their very first resident) for the 2025-2026 year!

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eschelman School of Pharmacy is thrilled to announce the recruitment of its first Community-Based Veterinary Pharmacy Resident. This groundbreaking program, the first in the nation, was created in collaboration with Vet Meds to address a critical gap in veterinary pharmacotherapy. The program is centered around key elements including specialized training in veterinary pharmacotherapy, integration of community-based pharmacy practices, support for rural healthcare needs, and fostering collaboration with veterinary care teams to enhance overall care.
