Pharm-Tox Student Discussion with Pharm-Tox Advisory Board

October

14,

2016

A discussion about career paths will be the focus of this hour-long discussion. Five individuals who are Pharm-Tox alumni or who have strong ties to the Pharm-Tox program serve as an external advisory board to the program. These include a Molly Weiler, PhD, a scientist who recently retired from Covance, a world-wide contract research organization; Pat Guiney, PhD, a toxicologist who recently retired from SC Johnson, a consumer products company, and who has been a leader in the SETAC (Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry) professional organization; John Davis II, a toxicologist with a start-up in Boston who spent a great deal of his career with Pfizer; Jack Vanden Heuvel, PhD, the first Pharm-Tox graduate and a faculty member at Penn State; and Scott Haugen, MD, an interventional/general cardiologist who practices in the Seattle area.

Light refreshments will be served.
