UW School of Pharmacy 4th Annual DPH-3 Pinning Ceremony – May 3, 2018
The Pinning Ceremony honors the Class of 2020 as they transition from didactic course work to full-time experiential learning. The end of the third year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program marks the end of classroom and laboratory learning. This transition to experiential education is a significant step in the professional development of the student pharmacist. During the fourth year, students apply the pharmacy practice skills and professional behaviors that have been developed within the School to patients in various healthcare settings.
It is important that students renew their personal commitment to professionalism before leaving the classroom and entering the workplace. Faculty, staff, and alumni who have supported these students during their professional development are welcome to celebrate this meaningful milestone.
Location: 1325 HSLC
The ceremony will be followed by a reception in the Commons.
