It is once again that time of year when Phi Delta Chi partners with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive and save some lives. The blood drive is from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM in the HSLC atrium. As some of you may know the need for blood at the red cross is always in demand and it would be great to show the Red Cross a huge response from the School of Pharmacy.
People can register to make an appointment for the drive online at the American red-cross website by searching the date (Sep 20th) and the location (HSLC). Appointments are preferred because they make the process smoother, but walk-ins are always welcome. If you make an appointment online the ARC now has “Express Check-in” which means no sitting and reading the handouts before you can donate!
New this year the Phi Delta Chi Professional Affairs committee will be thanking all school of pharmacy students and staff for donating with thank you gift bags of candy and handwritten notes. There will be a list at the registration desk to write your name down and we will be delivering the thank you bags out the following week.
