Jim DeMuth, professor in the Extension Services in Pharmacy Division, will present at the Third Joint Symposium of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia Commission and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Convention in Tianjin, China on November 6-7, 2008.

As Chair of the General Chapters Expert Committee at USP (2005-2010), a Committee responsible for over 80 chapters in the USP/NF, DeMuth will speak on “Procedures to Test for Impurities: Overview of USP’s Relevant General Chapters.” In addition to the podium presentation, he will present a short course to Chinese scientists on November 4-5 in Shanghai, China.
