Clinical Practice, Innovation, and Research Division

The Clinical Practice, Innovation, and Research Division (CliPIR) is a diverse group of practitioners, researchers, and educators. The goals of CliPIR include to:

  • Practice in diverse pharmacy settings to support patient care throughout Wisconsin
  • Develop innovations that maximize patient benefit, often focusing on medication use
  • Conduct research that leads to safer and more effective medication use and improved health processes
  • Support changes in health policy to support patient care
  • Educate students, health practitioners, and the public in ways that optimize health outcomes from medication and related treatments
