Jill M. Kolesar, professor (CHS) in the Pharmacy Practice Division, has been elected treasurer of the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners, (ISOPP).

The mission of ISOPP is to promote and enhance oncology pharmacy practice worldwide in order to improve cancer patient care. ISOPP members share a common interest: providing optimal drug therapy to cancer patients. They are pharmacists practicing in a variety of settings, who provide clinical pharmacy and/or cytotoxic preparation services for cancer patients. Kolesar will accept the role at the annual meeting in Prague in May 2010.
