Ye Sun, graduate student in the laboratory of Lian Yu, professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division, has been awarded the 2009 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Graduate Student Symposium Award in Physical Pharmacy and Biopharmaceutics.

He will be formally recognized and have a podium presentation at the 2009 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition this fall. Sun also received the 2009 Merck Graduate Student Fellowship based on a nationwide competition.
