Lara Collier, assistant professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division, has been named a Kimmel Scholar by the Sidney Kimmel Foundation for Cancer Research, one of 12 such awards given nationally in 2009. The award recognizes young scientists who have established themselves through publications in peer-reviewed journals known for their quality, prominence and influence in cancer research. Collier is one of 172 scholars provided with funding through the Kimmel Foundation since 1995.
