Dr. Glen Kwon’s patent “Compositions and methods for the inhibition of fibrosis” was recently granted by the U.S. patent office for PEG-FUD, a PEGylated peptide drug targeted to improve therapeutic efficacy against fibrosis by increased longevity of the drug. This patent is an exciting reward for Dr. Kwon and his collaborators after a long journey, which paves the road for clinical translation. Big congrats! Check out the full story here.
