Personal Health Partners is a collaboration between pharmacy and dietetics students at UW-Madison to work with the diverse underserved populations at Porchlight, an organization that provides emergency shelter and low-cost housing to the homeless, and the River Food Pantry, an organization that provides free meals and grocery supplies to low-income families. Each month, pharmacy students team up with dietetics students to provide education on important health topics, such as digestive health, asthma, heart health, and diabetes. Every event also features free blood pressure screenings and coordination with other WSPS Community Outreach programs to provide further free health screenings.
