Community Service Challenge

Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) will be hosting a Community Service Challenge that will be open to the entire pharmacy school. Through this challenge, PLS would like to engage pharmacists in serving the community in a multitude of manners and to increase the presence of pharmacy in the communities we will be serving in the future.  Students can compete individually or by forming a team of up to 4 people.  These teams can represent a student organization if you wish.   Individuals and teams can get hours by volunteering at any type of community service event (it doesn’t have to be an event put on by the student org they are representing).   At the end of the challenge, the team with the most points will get a prize!

Each week during the Community Service Challenge we will be nominating a faculty/staff member that goes above and beyond with their community service.  Last spring Anna Reinhart, Dr. Eva Vivian, and Dr. Denise Pigarelli were nominated.
