Margolis named Editor of the PSW Journal

Amanda Margolis, lecturer in the Pharmacy Practice Division, will assume an expanded role of Editor for the Journal of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (The Journal). For the past three years, Margolis has made significant volunteer contributions to The Journal, including a role as Peer Review Coordinator and as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board. With Kevin Look, assistant professor in the Social & Administrative Sciences Division, she worked to develop the popular “stats series,” which ran for 13 issues and for which the two received the PSW 2015 Curtis A. Johnson Award. Margolis is also the developer of the “precepting series” a current feature in The Journal. Amanda MargolisIn addition to her lecturer role, Margolis is involved with the school’s experiential education program serving as the Fourth-Year Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience Elective Course Coordinator and Preceptor Development. She also holds a staff clinical pharmacist position at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital.
