Join our health science community for a series of free workshops and conversations focused on topics related to equity, diversity and inclusion that deeply impact our work and our practice. This event is free and open to all health sciences faculty, students, staff, practicing professionals, and community members.

This session will:

  • Describe how wellness has shifted during the pandemic, and how it has disproportionately impacted communities of color.
  • Discuss how wellness intersects with health equity.
  • Illustrate tools and methods for supporting underrepresented students, faculty and staff during this transition period.  

About the Speakers

  • Danielle Gautt, LCSW, MPA (she/her): Assistant Director of Outreach and Prevention Services, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Keck School of Medicine at USC
  • KC Cross, LPC (they/them): Mental Health Performance Clinician for the University of Arkansas Razorback Athletics

Series Overview

The Interprofessional Diversity and Equity Lunch & Learn series addresses issues related to equity and inclusion across health care settings. The series consists of monthly speakers and panels hosted by the Schools of Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine.
