Email completed applications to Professor Karen Kopacek:   karen.kopacek@wisc.edu

APPLICATIONS DUE TODAY 2/3/2017 for SUMMER 2017 TRIPS. Students work inter-professionally to provide care to patients and the team functions as a rural traveling clinic in the community. Pharmacy students will have the opportunity to dispense medications, participate in patient interviewing, gather vital signs and examine patients alongside medical students. Speaking Spanish would be beneficial but it is not a requirement.  The trip is mainly intended for students completing their DPH-2 year because of their pharmacology and pharmacotherapy knowledge.  All three trips are about 2 weeks in length and generally cost $40/day for room and board. Students are also responsible for the cost of their plane tickets.
