Clinical Research Challenge

February

5,

2019

SCCP will be hosting its Clinical Research Challenge local competition on February 5th at 5:00 pm in Room 2320! This competition is open to any first or second years who are interested. It is NOT just limited to SCCP members. In this local journal club competition, teams of 3 students will compete in a 90-minute multiple-choice exam that analyzes a clinical trial. The clinical trial information will be emailed to the participants 72 hours before the exam. The winning team will represent the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy in the national competition! For more information, competition schedule, and sample questions, visit https://www.accp.com/stunet/crc/.

If you are interested, please sign up your team of 3 on this Google doc by Feb 2nd at 4:00 pm: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BlTlpY_K9P5gIG9XibPRjVfOQX20XHLw4QMeAlg_qvs/edit?usp=sharing

We will also be hosting a review session with Professor Margolis on February 4th at 3:30 pm in Room 1116 to review some key points of literature analysis we may not have learned in class yet!

Please note that completing the local competition is a binding commitment. If you can no longer make it to the national competition, you must find a replacement. Please make sure you are aware of the national competition dates before signing up. Feel free to contact Matt Wiedholz at mwiedholz@wisc.edu with any questions.
