Where in the World?

Kieser and Kopacek were invited external examiners for the Pharmacy Professional Exam at the University of Nizwa School of Pharmacy, Nizwa, Oman in March. They travel to Oman twice a year to proctor this capstone exam that graduating students must pass prior to advancing to pharmacy internships.

 

The 2011 U.S.-Thai Pharmacy Consortium meeting was held June 1-3, 2011 in Phuket, Thailand. The membership is comprised of more than two dozen U.S. and Thai colleges and universities that collaborate on the development of pharmacy education in Thailand. Highlights of the 2011 meeting included

  • The future of graduate education with the consortium
  • Residency programs and fellowships for Pharm.D. graduates
  • Collaborative projects and funding
  • Establish sharing e-Learning resources

 

Pharmacy Practice faculty from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, enjoy a social dinner with members of the Wisconsin delegation.
