Annually, the University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Pharmacy recognizes four distinguished alumni with a Citation of Merit Award, and an individual as the Pharmacy Alumni Association Alumni (PAA) of the Year. The PAA has recognized outstanding alumni for their contributions to pharmacy, society, professional organizations and the SOP since 1970. Citations of Merit have been awarded annually since 1953 to distinguished alumni or friends of the school; only an honorary degree constitutes a higher honor than a citation.
The Citation of Merit Award and the Alumnus of the Year recipients will be honored at the Dean's Reception held Friday, November 4, 2011, at the Fluno Center on campus. Please join us in recognizing the following 2011 award recipients:
